Warehouse Operative

Semichem is a value driven retailer with stores located in traditional high streets and shopping centres throughout Scotland, the North East of England and Northern Ireland.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our warehouse team at Nairn Road in Livingston.  We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work well on an individual basis and as part of a team.

What does the job entail? 

  • Picking orders for delivery to our stores
  • General order assembly including the use of powered picking trucks
  • Use of Voice Activated Warehouse System
  • Forklift truck and counterbalance truck operation
  • Replenishing and putting away stock
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Goods receipt and checking
  • General duties including cleaning, tidying and hygiene

About you:

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible

Previous experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
