Since 1996 they provide free, non-judgmental, confidential support to help achieve & maintain positive mental health and wellbeing, through therapy, wellbeing activities, training and volunteering.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used to ensure the health and wellbeing of their volunteer team which enables them to keep delivering the programme of support they offer to the East Lothian community.

Deans Community High School (Livingston)

At Deans Community High School, they believe that every student deserves the opportunity to begin the day ready to learn. Research consistently shows that students who have access to a healthy breakfast demonstrate improved concentration, higher attendance, and better overall well-being.

 
To help achieve this, they run a Breakfast Club each morning, providing a nutritious start to the day for any student who needs it. This initiative has already made a noticeable difference in the lives of the students, creating a calm and welcoming environment that sets a positive tone for their school day.

Funding will be used to keep their breakfast club running.

Into Work (Edinburgh)

Into Work supports disabled people and those with long-term health conditions to live independently, improve wellbeing, and access meaningful employment.
They provide person-centred support, digital inclusion, income maximisation, and mental health services—empowering individuals to overcome barriers and thrive.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used for expanding their digital inclusion and wellbeing support for disabled people and those with long-term health conditions.

Lodestars Community Hub (Bathgate)

Lodestars Community Hub CIC was set up to meet the need for a safe, warm, accessible and inclusive space for the community. They pride themselves on bringing the individuals together through a range of community requested services and activities, helping to meet needs locally.

Funding Goal

Funding would be used to purchase kitchen equipment.

Team Jak Foundation (Livingston)

Team Jak provides emotional, social and practical support for children and young people aged 0-25 with cancer and related illnesses, their families, friends and those bereaved throughout Scotland, through Jak’s Den HQ in Livingston and Jak’s Den Aberdeen, pop up Dens in Fife, Glasgow, at home, and via the children’s hospitals and school’s support.

Established by 15-year-old Jak Trueman from lived experience on his own cancer journey before he sadly died. Funding Goal

Funding will be used towards resources, crafts and activities for their Teen sessions.

Treetop Family Nurture Centre (Inverkeithing)

Treetop provide childcare and education to 200 children across two sites in Inverkeithing and Rosyth. They value family learning projects and helping people to become self-sufficient and live healthier lives. Their aim is to be a well-used resource within the community where intergeneration learning is supported and encouraged and the children flourish. Creating smiles and easing the journey for children and young people with cancer.

Funding will be used for their Community Garden.
