CRRU
CRRU is a marine conservation charity dedicated to the study, conservation and understanding of UK whales, dolphins and porpoises (cetaceans). They have been involved in marine wildlife rescue since 1999 and operate the only 24-hr dedicated response team of marine mammal scientists in Northeast of Scotland. Funding will be used to assist live-stranded whales and dolphins in trouble.
Earthtime
Since 2011 Earthtime has been delivering nature-based activities for families, children and communities with many projects including an Outdoor Forest School Nursey at Duffus, Waddle Toddle, Nature Play and Pregnancy Pathways. Providing activities that benefit young people in the area they encourage an awareness and understanding of the importance of nature. Funding will be used to support local families with young children attending Waddle Toddle sessions across Moray.
The Breadmaker
The Bread Maker is a social enterprise that gives opportunities to adults with learning disabilities and helps people who would find it difficult to get a job or training in most ordinary businesses, while supplying some of Aberdeen’s best loved bread to top restaurants, coffee shops and retail outlets.
