Inverness East & Nairnshire Children & Family Early Intervention & Prevention Services

Provide support to families, children, and young people facing challenges caused by poverty, disability or adverse childhood experiences, as well as those who may be vulnerable to exploitation. By offering activities in a safe, structured and supportive environment self-esteem, resilience, and mental well-being is improved.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used for person/family centred activities and allow consistent access to them through the year.

Dreams Come True

Dreams Come True is a UK wide charity that supports children with serious or life-limiting conditions living in the most deprived communities. Partnering with local community groups in Buckie, Moray they are working to transform the town’s main play park into a vibrant, inclusive space for children of all ages and abilities.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used for the wet pour safety surface allowing the area to be fully accessible for children using mobility aids or wheelchairs.

Montrose Befriending Service

Improves people’s health and well-being by reducing social isolation and loneliness which creates a more cohesive and inclusive community, while reducing the effects of deprivation and inequality. They have developed their ‘Next Steps’ project to provide employability opportunities through a High Street based location which will be a hub and creative retail space for our craft group.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used to purchase laptop, software, crafting yarns, table top looms and workshops with a weaver.

Aberdeen Surf Lifesaving Club

Promote water safety, help to prevent drowning and save lives through vital training. They teach children and adults life-long skills needed to allow safe enjoyment in an ocean environment and help provide confidence for people to keep themselves safe as well as knowing how to save others in difficulty.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used to expand the nippers club and purchase additional equipment such as wetsuits, rescue tubes and junior prone boards.

Banff Primary School Parent Council

Banff Primary School Primary Parent Council are a group of parent volunteers that come together to improve the school experience for all pupils. They carry out fundraising events which allows them to provide additional & extracurricular activities and equipment for the school.

Funding Goal

Funding will be used for the children to attend regular swimming lessons at their local swimming pool as many children are unable to attend swimming lessons or access the swimming pool down to costs or parent practicalities.

The Banff Partnership

The Banff Partnership is a not-for-profit organisation rooted in the community, offering vital services that help the most vulnerable people live safer, more independent lives, from accessible transport to crisis support they pride themselves in being their every step of the way.
