Children’s Design A Mascot Competition – Competition is now CLOSED

Competition is now CLOSED

To help Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) reach more families, we selected them as our charity partner for 2021/2022.

As well as fundraising, the Scotmid family are helping to raise awareness of what CHAS do and we have an exciting way that you can help…

We need a MASCOT to celebrate our partnership with CHAS and we need you to create it!

One talented designer will have their creation turned into a REAL-LIFE MASCOT which will be seen all over Scotland.

Draw your design on a template:

Template For Individual Entrants

Template Schools and Groups

No printer? No problem? Just use an A4 sheet of paper and remember to include all details shown on the template.

CHAS keep joy alive for children and families going through the hardest times, so we want your character to represent exactly that – joy, childhood, fun, laughter, and sparkle!

The closing date for entries is 5pm on 24th September.

Please email your entry to competition@scotmid.co.uk or send to Mascot Competition, Scotmid Coop, Hillwood House, 2 Harvest Drive Newbridge, EH28 8QJ

The winning designer will see their mascot popping up across Scotland. They will also receive a framed copy of their creation by John Hunter Barrie, £200 Scotmid fundraising vouchers for their nursery/school/group and a Scotmid & CHAS goody bag containing exclusive mascot merchandise.

So Mascot Makers….are you ready?

Let the challenge begin!
