Aberdeen City First Responders
Aberdeen City First Responders provide pre-hospital emergency care on behalf of the Scottish Ambulance service in accordance with the First Responder callout system set out by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Funding Goal
Funding will be used to to purchase two new semi-automatic defibrillators, essential replacement batteries and CPR electrode pads, and training manikins to support volunteer development and lifesaving skills.
This equipment will help ensure volunteers are fully equipped, trained, and ready to respond to medical emergencies across the local community.
ADHD Adventures (Aberdeenshire)
ADHD Adventures support children, young people and their families who have a potential or confirmed diagnosis of ADHD across Aberdeenshire. ADHD Adventures believes every child deserves a place where they can just be themselves — no pressure, no judgement, just plenty of kindness, understanding, and support.
Funding Goal
To expand their ADHD child and parent support groups across Aberdeenshire by providing safe, structured activity sessions that build confidence, social connection and emotional wellbeing. Funding will be used to deliver accessible group activities and purchase sensory‑friendly equipment, enabling them to increase capacity so more children and families can access support across Aberdeenshire.
Brighter Bervie (Inverbervie)
Brighter Bervie is a community volunteer group dedicated to improving our local environment and biodiversity for the benefit of human and natural residents and visitors, achieved largely through initiatives involving developing and maintaining publicly accessible green spaces throughout their community.
Funding Goal
Funding will be used to develop a community growing facility with polytunnels and raised beds to grow a wide range of flowering and edible plants plus a community orchard. The produce would be available for community consumption.
Funding would be spent on infrastructure and equipment to construct and commission the community growing facility for volunteers to start-up and continue growing the plants.
Men In Mind & Women In Mind (Aberdeenshire)
Men in Mind and Women in Mind offer peer-to-peer mental health support groups operating across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. The groups provide free, safe and non-judgemental spaces where people experiencing mental health challenges can talk openly, share experiences and support one another.
Funding Goal
Funding would support the continued delivery and expansion of the groups, including venue hire, volunteer support and training, safeguarding, wellbeing resources, outreach activities, and essential operational costs. This will help ensure accessible, community-based mental health support remains available to those who need it most.
Southton Smallholding (Perth)
Southton Smallholding offers therapeutic work to adults with a learning disability in a horticultural setting. They offer an opportunity for volunteers, especially those recovering from mental health challenges.
Funding Goal
Funding would be used to purchase essential kitchen facilities and equipment and the associated plumbing and electrical installation work. The new kitchen will provide a safe, accessible space for participants to prepare food, develop practical life skills, and socialise, enhancing the therapeutic and community benefits of Southton Smallholding’s programme.
Laurencekirk Bowling Club
Laurencekirk Bowling Club is a local Bowling Club holding weekly coaching sessions, an annual Kids Day and a ‘Try Bowls’ event as part of the local gala.
Funding Goal
Funding will be used to purchase a new electronic scoreboard, enabling it to host higher-level competitive matches and tournaments.
This would help attract more events to the club, create additional fundraising opportunities, and support the long-term sustainability of this valued community facility.
