Congratulations to Caldervale High School and Cromarty Primary School who were crowned the winners of the Scottish SPCA’s School Film Competition.
Scotmid’s Press and Social Media Manager Andrew Sleight was part of the original judging panel alongside Scottish SPCA Chief Executive Kirsteen Campbell, Scottish SPCA Communications Officer Lee-Ann Howieson and TV’s Judith Ralston that selected the four shortlisted schools in the Primary School Competition.
Then the voting public chose Cromarty as their number one and St Denis’ Primary School in Glasgow were runner’s up. Huge well done to all the schoolchildren, who participated.
The main aim behind our Charity of the Year partnership is to fund the education of young people about animal welfare, so this competition was a perfect fit in terms of our combined objectives.
