Scotmid is delighted to confirm the FREE Scotmid Membership App is still available to download for Android, iOS and Windows smart phones.
Working with mobile developers, Waracle, Scotmid produced an app exclusively available to smart phone using Scotmid members, delivering special offers and more regular member benefits straight to the palm of their hand.
It also includes information about events Scotmid is supporting and hosting, an up to the minute news feed, pulling in website news and social media posts, and a handy store finder.
Following launch, the app will be monitored and evaluated to find out the kind of offers Scotmid members prefer and in time, offers will be tailored to suit.
Scotmid’s Head of Corporate Communications, Malcolm Brown said, “Mobile technology really is the future and as a co-operative society with a history spanning more than 150 years, Scotmid has never been afraid to move with the times.
“Co-operatives have undergone a great deal of modernisation in recent years and we need to consider how we continue do this. It’s not just the younger generation that enjoys the ease and simplicity of using smart phone applications – I’m sure this app will appeal to our broader membership too. I am really looking forward to seeing how the app is received and what the future holds for technology in co-operatives over the coming months and years.”

Members can log in to the app using the same log in details as for the Scotmid Membership Hub, or they can register directly on the app.
Registration for both requires the input of a first name, last name and share number. If clarification of share number is needed, please contact the Membership and Community team.
