We are aware that our members are loyal and some been a part of our Society for many years. Because of this, we like to make sure that Scotmid is always seeking ways of giving our members additional benefits.
At the moment, we are trialling a Member Benefit Card. We asked our members in the June 2011 edition of Jigsaw magazine if they’d like to be a part of this trial and just over 5,500 said yes. We issued cards to these members in June of 2012.
Now, we have selected a small trial group, all of whom have email access and with whom we are trialling regular, additional offers in our stores to see how our members respond to the offers, to see what they like and don’t like and to gauge what kind of offers Scotmid members are going to enjoy the most – will it be a free item of shopping, a discount at the till or money off a particular brand for example?
The card trial is expected to run until Autumn 2013 when we will be in a position to roll a Member Benefit Card out to all Scotmid members and we can’t wait!
Unfortunately, as the trial is ongoing, we can’t add any more members to it and if you are part of the trial and you lose your card, we can’t issue a new one straight away but you should let us know and we’ll get one to you as soon as possible.
